2026 De Sales Invitational
The sixth annual De Sales Invitational was held February 13 – 15. Eighteen seminaries from around the country competed in a weekend filled with basketball, competition, and fraternity…our largest tournament yet! The Saint Francis de Sales Shoremen won the championship with a thrilling 56-54 overtime victory against a strong St. Meinrad team. Mundelein came in third. Thank you to our generous sponsors who underwrote the whole weekend!

2025 De Sales Invitational
Congratulations to champions St. Joseph Seminary College from St. Benedict, LA. Our Lady of Guadalupe from Denton, NE placed second, and Mundelein from Mundelein, IL placed third.

2024 De Sales Invitational
In a repeat of our inaugural tournament, Our Lady of Guadalupe won, with Saint Francis de Sales coming in second, and Kenrick-Glennon placing third.

2023 De Sales Invitational
Our own Shoremen won the intensely-fought championship game over St. Paul Seminary in overtime. Our Lady of Guadalupe came in third. Congratulations to all!

2022 De Sales Invitational
Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary won for the second year in a row by defeating Saint Francis de Sales Seminary 53-47, in a repeat of last year’s championship game. Moreau placed third.

2021 De Sales Invitational
The innaugural De Sales Invitational Basketball Tournament was held in February 2021. Six teams from Midwestern seminaries came together for a weekend of brotherhood and fun. The three days of camaraderie were particularly welcome because all of the seminaries were living in some state of quarantine at the time. Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary defeated the SFDS team in the championship game. Kenrick-Glennon placed third.
