DEO GRATIAS tells the story of faith, hope and love as it portrays the life of Wisconsin-born Blessed Solanus Casey, a humble priest who studied at Saint Francis de Sales Seminary. Casey was the first United States-born man to be declared “venerable” on the path to sainthood, and he was beatified on November 18, 2017 in Detroit, MI.
Blessed Solanus was a simple priest who served as a porter, opening the door to thousands of souls who flocked to him for advice. His oft-repeated words, “Thank God (Deo Gratias) ahead of time,” were frequently prophetic, as hundreds of visitors reported miracles after visiting the holy priest. His timeless message of trusting in the Lord still resonates powerfully today.
DEO GRATIAS is narrated by His Eminence, Cardinal James Harvey and features a soaring original song.
