Salzmann Library serves all who work or volunteer at the parishes, schools, and ministries in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. It contains more than 80,000 volumes, primarily in ministry and theology with a strong canon law collection. Unique to Salzmann Library is the Weakland Collection articles, books, speeches, and videos by or about Archbishop Emeritus Rembert Weakland, O.S.B. Also collected are all theses written by St. Francis Seminary graduates.

Salzmann Library’s hours are changing for the summer beginning May 18, 2009 and continuing until August 24, 2009.  During this time the library will be closed on Fridays. 

SUMMER HOURS 2009

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday ~ 10 am to 6 pm

Saturday ~ Noon to 4 pm

Sunday, Monday, Friday ~ Closed

Salzmann belongs to SWITCH, a consortium of eight academic libraries in the Milwaukee area that share an online catalog called TOPCAT. Salzmann library patrons can borrow from or use any SWITCH library.
